Description

This functionally and computationally superior EFM / RTU provides Measurement data of custody transfer and control functions to the production, transmission and distribution markets. Powerful, fast and flexible, the Scanner Model 1131 flow computer maximizes profits by providing accurate information for monitoring, measuring and controlling your natural gas or liquid hydrocarbon process. To accommodate cost-effective operations in hazardous and general-use areas, the Scanner Model 1131 flow computer is offered in field-mount and rack-mount configurations.

Specifications
Flexible capacity
By using the MVX-II serial communication multivariable transmitters, or by using the generous inputs and outputs of the main circuit board inside the Scanner Model 1131 flow computer, this platform can calculate up to nine flow flows. In addition to these capabilities, the main circuit board can be equipped with two expansion boards that provide a variety of additional communication ports including Ethernet, more frequency inputs, status inputs and outputs. Field-mounted cabinets can also be equipped with multivariable transducers or single-pressure transmitters.

The exact calculations and the Measurement audit trail within this scanner meet the requirements of API Chapter 21, the Measurement Canada custody transfer regulations and the requirements of various regional authorities.

Data is extracted from the Scanner Model 1131 flow computer using a highly efficient and secure ScanCom communication protocol that is available simultaneously to popular ModBus protocols.
