Description

The Cameron CLIF MOCK True Cut circulating system allows operators to collect, store and mix crude and other low pressure sampled product in a single receptacle, minimizing the loss of light ends. Designed for use with a CLIF MOCK True Cut C-series sample probe, a CLIF MOCK True Cut circulation system consists of a stationary sample holder, an integrated skid-mounted gear pump and a motorized circulation and mixing system.

These systems are suitable to support automatic custody transfer units leased by LACT engineering, pipe sampling, truck loading / unloading, refinery sampling, ship loading / unloading and sampling of the production platform. The large capacity receptacles of the systems are ideal for long sampling periods. Two models, the CLICK MOCK True Cut CMC-500 circulating system and the MCC True Cut CMC-250 CLIF circulating system offer the operator a choice of receptacle designs.

Multiple receptacle circulation systems

The requirement of multiple oil receptacles in the pipes has become a common practice in recent years. This has been due to more frequent or smaller lot sizes, as well as to the greater precision of having dedicated receptacles for products or clients. These systems often have electric or pneumatically operated tank selection valves that can be operated remotely or from a central computer. This eliminates the need to drain and prepare a single receptacle for each batch. The characteristics of the tanks and circulation systems in these units are the same as those found in the popular systems of the CMC-500 series. These characteristics, together with the selection capabilities in multiple tank skids, increase the sampling accuracy while decreasing the labor required to operate the systems.

Mixing system M20-3

The M20-3 mixing system is designed in accordance with API 8.3, to completely mix the crude oil samples. The system consists of an explosion-proof motor, a gear pump and a static in-line mixer mounted on a carbon steel drainage table. The drain table is covered with oven-baked epoxy paint. Also included are two flexible hoses, each with quick disconnect couplings at one end for quick and easy connections to all R-series receptacles.
