Description
The NUFLO GT gas turbine flow meters feature a transducer that uses a light, low inertia rotor to detect gas velocity. It offers an output frequency that has a linear relationship with the gas velocity over a wide flow range.
The meter tracks the flow continuously, offers little resistance to flow and has a unique cartridge design that allows the removal of all internal parts as a single assembly. The meter also shows little sensitivity to gas density above two atmospheres of pressure. The low inertia of the rotor and vane bearings allows the overload of the meter to double its nominal capacity without damage due to intermittent flow variations.
Designed for maximum service life, the carbide rotor shaft and bearings do not require lubrication. The cartridge assembly facilitates the replacement and inspection of parts. And the meter is designed for installation between two flanges. In addition, the digital pulse output generated by the flowmeter of the gas turbine can be fed to accompanying reading devices capable of providing a direct measurement of the flow and accumulated performance. These measurements can be automatically compensated with pressure and / or temperature to obtain volumetric measurements in standard units.
