Description
Our Gate Valve WKM Pow-R-Seal is the choice of liquid pipe operators because it tolerates wax, paraffin, abrasives and multi-product flow that causes problems in other Valves designs.60 years of worldwide service in oil, gas, chemical products, water, sludge and multi-product applications, has established the Gate Valve expansion WKM Pow-R-Seal as one of the most reliable GATE VALVE, especially where safety and Seal reliability are critical.
The positive mechanical seat force of the lock seals in place, is maintained with zero leakage through the conditions of vibration, pressure change and temperature excursion.
The rigid cast steel body withstands the bending moments of the pipe. The TFE seals on both sides of the Valve provide a hermetic seal even at low differential pressure, while the metal-to-metal contact between the seals and the door mechanism provides a secure closure against fire.
Optional metal seals are also available for service up to 1,000º F (538º C), where leak rates comply with API 6D, Supplement 2.
